Neirami women clothing, designed by Laura Nardi, and Ditraverso design objects, created by Danilo Traverso. We met when we both were working for the cinema and the theatre, then we became a couple in life as well as business partners. Our synergy is our strength: in both life and work we contaminate each other, we clash and complete each other.

I graduated at the DAMS University of Bologna (School of Art, Music and Cinema/Theatre) and attended the specialized Next Fashion Academy. I worked for many years as cinema costume designer and as fashion stylist for various magazines and companies in the sector. In 2006, after the birth of my daughter, I launched my own fashion brand.

During my university years, I built up my cultural background and cultivated my passion for art, cinema and theatre. During my working experience with the Link Project and the Officine Alkemiche I discovered sculpture and scenic design, becoming a passionate handcraft worker and manual designer. The theatre experience taught me to deal with space as a scene, to learn much about lights and timing. Now, I think I am ready for Opificio Neirami: where I can experience my creations, my design sculptures, my photos and my videos, all the things I am good at, and maybe something more, which I do not know yet…
